Step into the STARLIGHT EXPRESS and experience a spectacular show with live music performed by an orchestra, live singing, acrobatics, and amazing costumes. All musical performers are on roller skates and zoom around at speeds of up to 60 km/h on the 250-meter-long roller tracks that also run through the audience area.
The first performance of Starlight Express took place on June 12, 1988 in the specially built theater in Bochum. In 2010, Guinness World Records, London, named Starlight Express the most successful musical worldwide at one location.
